No offense to Chuck Connors who was great on the "RifleMan" would have been a medicore Johnny Dollar.
Wonder if Chuck did any OTR shows?
I see none are listed at the RadioGoldIndex except for a series on NPR in 1984.

Glad the brass picked Bob Bailey. :)

Favorite Christmas Episode

My is "Christmas Story" from December 20th, 1952.

No gun play just a heart warming story Matt tells a stranger he meets on the trail about Christmas time in Dodge City.

I have all the 30 minute TV GS Episodes on DVD.
Its interesting to compare what changes were made in the script from
Radio to TV.
Too bad the radio episodes were not included as a bonus feature on DVD.

Thanks for the Info.

Agree FORT LARMAIE was a great series to listen too.
Only downside it only lasted 39-40 episodes.
The "Gary Owens" theme music has a rousing beat to get your toes a tapping and to hum along.

It seems the comedy show back then like to bring in BORIS KARLOFF for Halloween Guest appearance.

I have heard Boris on: Bing Croby, Duffy's Tavern, Bergen & McCarthy, and Sealtest Variety Theater with Dorothy Lamour.
