I understand that "Sorry, Wrong Number" was also adapted for TV twice in the 50's. Unfortunately, I believe both broadcasts were live and not copies of the programs survive. I would love to find out that I am wrong and that a copy of at least one of these broadcasts survives.

KMOX/1970's Nostalgia Boom

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate post or not, if not, I apologize. My first exposure of any length to OTR was back in October 1978. It was either between 7 and 7:30 pm or 8 and 8:30 pm here in Middle GA when my Mom decided she wanted to listen to a local FM radio station. Well, she couldn't tu...

New Inner Sanctum episodes.

On my Facebook page, there was a pic of Boris Karloff and a statement that 12 "lost" Inner Sanctum episodes had been discovered. When I clicked on the pic, it sent me to a newsletter site called Rick's Place. I didn't see any further information on any lost episodes. And I don't arbitrarily subscrib...

Sounds more complicated than I ever imagined. I was hoping that somewhere out there....not necessarily here on the forum....would have been a website listing the differences, but after reading the replies here, especially Stewart's, it would seem to be very difficult to find a site that is an all in...

Radio episodes versus their TV versions

Has anyone posted a listing of the radio scripts that were used on the TV series and the differences in the scripts?

Does anyone know why Judy Canova changed her hometown from Unadilla to Cactus Junction and when?

Stewart, thank you. I was getting online to ask when Gunsmoke aired in primetime when the TV show premiered. You must have read my mind. Thanks again.

Wow, I wish someway, somewhere, the broadcast could be found. From your description, it was a heck of a good show. BTW, I noticed that not only was Kitty not listed in the credits, but neither is Georgia Ellis. I guess this means that we finally know that Kitty didn't show up until episode 3, Jalisc...

What times did the 15 minute version air? I've heard they aired twice a day.

Thanks,

Carmichael the Bear

I know this is probably covered in 39 Forever, but I was wondering when the last time Carmichael the Bear was last mentioned on the show?? BTW, the check for both volumes will be in the mail Monday, Laura. :D

The title of the show was changed to "Banquo's Chair" before the show was actually aired. Much like the show that was announced to air two weeks previously, "She Overheard Death Speaking" was changed to ..........."Sorry, Wrong Number" before it was broadcast.
