A fantastic find! I watched it this morning. Very rare to see or hear an interview with Mary Lee Robb, and the re-creation was excellent. Even the supporting players were great.

Interestingly, Amos 'n' Andy didn't even make the top 25, although it was number 5 in 1986 and number 6 in 1999. But I suppose that's a topic for a different forum.

Amazon has the book for $30.37, with a free $5 in MP3 downloads from its MP3 store. The book is temporarily out of stock, but Amazon will notify buyers of the estimated delivery date when more info is available. The author's Fibber book was so good that I found myself hoping he would do a similar Gi...

I thought the radio version was a lot better than the movie. For one thing, because the show had to be condensed to a half-hour, a lot of the movie's silly stuff was edited out. Equally important, having the radio cast, including Walter Tetley, was a vast improvement. Where did the movies ever come ...

Happy New Year! Since 2012 is an election year, my PT Cruiser now bears a red-white-and-blue bumper sticker that says: GILDERSLEEVE in 2012 [/b] From Water Commission to White House I unabashedly stole the idea from the late, lamented Great Gildersleeve Journal and had the sticker printed by an onli...

Yet another episode is now available: Episode 090 Original Broadcast date:? Interesting! Do you have any other info on the South African version? Googling South African Fibber got me just as much information as googling Australian Fibber. That is to say, none at all.
